Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:
1 package of fresh cranberries, washed with any bad berries removed
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of fresh squeezed orange juice (about 4 oranges)
Zest of an orange
¼ teaspoon each of Ground Cinnamon, Ground Nutmeg, Ground Cloves

In a 2 quart pan stir together the sugar and spices
Add the juice, cranberries and orange zest
Over medium heat bring the berries to a boil and cook until the berries “pop” and become broken and soft, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, cover and let cool
Serve warm or cold

Can be made up to 4 days in advance of use.
